Tianning Li heads the Sino-German Industrie 4.0 Project between the German Federal Ministry of Economic Affairs and Energy (BMWi) and the Chinese Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT) based on the MoU signed by both governments in 2015. The Industrie 4.0 Project (implemented by GIZ) facilitates the political dialogue between Germany and China on regulatory framework conditions for foreign companies in China as well as pilot projects of innovative companies. Tianning has a German Diploma degree in International Business Administration from the University of Tübingen. Before she joined GIZ in 2013, she has been working in private sector for German renewable energy and automotive corporations being responsible for SCM and Strategy projects.
